Hi Colette,
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a wonderful evening!
Richard
Yes Richard, I was so happy to see Jesse has settled ashore so beautifully, and that she is a picture of health.
ReplyDeleteIt won't be too long until you guys in the USA finally get the chance to meet Jesse...I'm sure Andrew will try to schedule in something. And you are all very deserving of it.
Wonderful photos, Collette!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing them with us! :)
Cheers .... Soldier's Mum xxx
Hi Collette
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely photo.
Thanks for sharing with us and it's great that Jessica appreciated the photo gallery and the flags!
I have missed the blogs so much.
I am looking forward to going to the Oasis Shopping Centre on 18 August, hopefully will meet Jessica and get her book signed!
Take care and stay well.
Love, Fay from the Gold Coast
Hi Collette,
ReplyDeleteStunning pictures ! .....And you thought that you had missed her ! Darn the Westgate Freeway and Bridge ! I have the "pleasure" of driving on it twice a day ! Anyway, the lesson here is persistence and you persisted ! Good on you !
It was really nice of Jess to remember all of us from our regular blog responses. Given that Saturday was the first time I met her, she made it a point to ask me who I was and recognised my "tag" immediately.
Andrew Fraser is also a legend. He always acknowledges our unwavering support for Jess during her adventure and has always given us the opportunity to spend time exclusively with Jess.
See you on 28 Aug.
Cheers
Jonathan
Hi Collette,
ReplyDeleteWell (*)v(*) Look at you two !!!
Thanks for sharing the photos. You both look a picture of health and Jesse seems to really be enjoying the attention as well as the chance to inspire others.
There were many secondary students at the evening I went to and the issue of education was topic of one question from them. Her obvious answer was that at present she is fully occupied promoting her book after spending time in the writing and editing process. This is an education in itself and leaves little time to concentrate on studies.
However she emphasised that education was important and she would hopefully get back to her studies in the future.
We have been very fortunate in having the opportunity to meet again with Jessica.I enjoyed seeing all the photos from the book signings.
Hope to catch up on the 28th.
Sally
Hi Collette...first time I left a comment, its so cool that Jess was happy to spend a little time for you...its a good bunch of pictures you've got there...little treasurers for life!
ReplyDeleteSee you and Pete at the Luncheon
Cheers
